Things to do by the end of the week:
- Research of film openings completed posted to blog
- Complete planning of film opening - create film title & synopsis
- Commence comparative analysis of 3 film scripts (the first 2-3 pages only) downloaded from 'Drew's Scriptorama'
- Commence film script (just for the 2 minute opening), shot list and storyboard

This week I wrote the synopsis and finished off the script for the 2 minute opening. We also brainstormed film titles and decided on 'Cold Capture' but then thought that just 'Captured' was more mysterious and catchy.

23rd & 25th February 2010

Things to do by the end of the week:
- film title and synopsis
- completed audience research
- comparative analysis of 3 film scripts
- completed film script for opening
- completed storyboard
- competed shot list

Filming was supposed to start this week however, no one in the class finished the list above. So during the lesson, we managed to come up with a film title (Captured) and synopsis, we finished the shotlist and the script. Sheena finished off the audience research and analysis of the film scripts at home, and Daniel took the storyboard home to finish.

However, we still weren't ready to film. We still had to organise resources, times, locations, cast and costumes.

So we talked to a couple of friends and established our cast:
Kelly Mellor: Sheena Padington
Julian Mellor: Chris O'Hara
Kelly's friend: Joanne Gibb
Jerry: Adam Martin
Jerry's friend: Daniel Harrison

Locations:
S1 – random room (top floor of Talbot House)
S2 – Sheena's (Kelly’s Room) and an office (Mr Mellor’s office)
S3 – random room (top floor of Talbot House)
S4 – interior party (someone’s house) exterior (outside of Hellmouth Studios)
S5 – random room (top floor of Talbot House)

We also decided that Scene 2 (bedroom) and Scene 4 (studios) would be filmed out of school hours, so Sheena decided to borrow the camera and film these scenes during the weekend.
